People were having sex on the trampoline in a sleeping bag at a post-house party last night.
I could hear "ahhh.. ahhh.." and the trampoline was going up and down. SO what else could it be eh? Pure innocent fun hell yeah that's what I'd like to believe.
And I tried something for the first time. Would love to show you what, but on the safe side, better not. I'd say, it didn't hit me the first time. I just felt... kinda sleepy. It was either a) I already felt tired b) I didn't do it properly. Probably both I think. It was kinda interesting how people can enjoy it and tell me how wonderful it feels to see the world in SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PERSPECTIVE. IT WAS LIKE, I WASN'T DEPRESSED OR STRESSED ABOUT ANYTHING ANYMORE. I looked at things in a different way that I'd never seen before..... The sunset just looked BBEEAUUUUTiful and I couldn't understand why I was angry or sad about certain things. It was just the most beautiful thing EVER! - what my friends said. hahahah, imagine me saying that.. that'd be funny.
So yeah, nothing's wrong with me if you're worried. Imo, I accept this but I won't integrate it into my life coz I think it's ridiculous to use this as an excuse to not be "uptight" and "stressed" about things. That's just.. stupid -.- Running away from problems won't help, it just temporarily gives you an ease of mind. That's awesome... for now. But in the long run, you're in for a whole load of shiat;
House parties teach me a lot of things. At every house party, there's bound to be something going on. Something interesting, people doing funny things, people who just broke up and crying but all in all, it's fun being part of another culture. They'd love for me to be more comfortable with my BODEHHh though and want me to dance and hug and stuff like that. Welcome to the Wild Wild West. My name is Johnny West.
But I definitely have my own rules that I live by lah, no worries.
I learnt a lot of stuff whilst talking to Maoris last night. Learnt about how they feel towards Asians (lololol), the stuff they eat, their traditions, cultures and a hell loada stuff. Enriching. All at post-house party.
MOVIN ON TO SIMPLER THINGS,
I went to town again yesterday, earlier in the day, with Jong Seon my lovely Korean friend and it was AWESOMEEEE. The weather was perfect. The sun was out and people were around (yay) coz it was a Friday and the atmosphere was way better than the last time I went. Dull and depressing. But yesterday was just good happy feels.
Especially since we witnessed a couple's lovely wedding photoshoot :'D
AWWWWW...!!!
It was at Browsers bookshop! Remember the one I told you I really liked? Aha! What a cute place to take photos at. And what I love is how easy-going the photoshoot was. Really spontaneous and stress free. That's what I like about their wedding photoshoots. In Singapore, I think there's much fuss about how certain things are supposed to look like. Dress, makeup, hair, mother-in-law. Lol. All posed and fake and stuff. But theirs is just pure spontaneity. Whatever they think looks good in that moment. I like that. I really do. I'd love to have a wedding photoshoot like that.
Jong Seon and I felt like paparazzi and kaypo aunties. Or at least I felt like one hahahah but it was all sweettt and good-natured. Gives me happy feelings especially with such a setting and jazz music about love was playing in the background. SQUEALZ. Now I sound bimbotic but hey, I'm all serious about it I felt really happy man.
Had lamb burger (again) for lunch COZ THIS TIME MACS 1-FOR-1 SO YAY US Free one lamb burger heh. Singaporean.
Shopped at Salvation Army (again) AND LEFT WITH 3 PIECES OF VINTAGE FINDS HAHAHAHAHAHA I REALLY LOVE THAT PLACE DAMN GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!! Jong seon got a skirt and scarf too, good for her. I love it when people enjoy these things as much as I do hahahah. I really enjoy shopping at Salvation Army though it's got this musty smell coz everything's old and second-hand. But I appreciate that most of the things there are "Made in New Zealand" and are REAL vintage stuff. I don't like re-made and re-worked vintage. Doesn't really matter to me who used to wear them. These are real goods right there. From the 70s, 80s & 90s. Above all, money's going for a good cause.
I swear, my luggage is going home full as hell. I think I need to package and send some stuff back so I won't have sucha heavy load.
What I did new this time though was visit a cafe! Yay, been wanting to do this since a long time. Koreans know their cafes best coz they have so much of them. I came late the last time so all were closed, but this time...
Forgot what this is called, it's lemon-y AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!!
I hate icing but this icing was... freaking awesome. Coz it's not really icing? You'd assume icing to be sweet but this icing was kinda cheesy and savoury than sweet. And I don't really like cheese but the icing was not too heavy. Just. Nice.
That's yoghurt as a side to go with it. Fabulous I say. I love it.
I love the staff too. Coz one of them recommended me this. I love him. Marry me please.
Btw, the placing of the fork and all that was not on purpose, this picture just turned out looking good on it's own. The dessert is workin it. Glad I had this. Don't mind turning fat and dying by melting at that spot.
Jong Seon ordered a smoothie and similarly, it tasted fresh and great. It was a fruit berry smoothie and I could chew on the seeds and stuff so that's good. Only it's expensive. 7 bucks for a smoothie. My dessert was only 5.50. But we shared so : )
I WANT TO EAT MOREEEEE> I don't mind spending on food (and vintage finds hahah) coz food is something nobody should forego when they're overseas. Food binds us all togethaaa. what am i sayin.
Coupled with going to the gym, not so bad lah won't become fat lah hor? Hahahah yeah imagine that... I actually go to the gym in New Zealand. Once every week. Or alternate, if I've stuff on and can't go. Coz the reason why I'm doing this is coz I'm going for Zumba!!! It's a dance-workout session. REALLY FUN! Not the pro-dance kinda stuff just fun moving here and there with fun moves like shaking the bombom and twirling hahahah so retarded but fun.
And then for 11 dollars a session, you can use the gym's facilities after that. So I think it's quite worth it : ) NZ really has a strong sports culture.
So yeah, there you go, my day yesterday. Tonight, BALLOONS OVER WAIKATO!!!
I've received my camera already! Only I have yet collected it coz the office is closed on a weekend :( So, nice pics another time guys!
