Bought a $6 watch in preparation.

I haven't worn a watch for practical purposes since... primary school. Seriously, I don't wear watches. There was always a clock in school classrooms and lecture theatres. Plus watches make my wrists sweat. 

But because I've been relying on my phone to check the time, it has become a NEED to get a watch. And I like my new one a lot hahaha.

The uncle who sold me the watch was cute - He's Chinese from Fujian so we conversed in itty bitty Mandarin and he showed me pictures of his daughters, one married, the other a doctor. And he told me he went to Singapore in 1997 hahahaha and that Chinatown in Singapore had so many watches lol lol. How true his accounts are - I dunno. Dayum the Chinese here have a reputation for being good at business. 

I am also currently downloading an alarm clock app for my macbook lol so that I can wake up early tomorrow morning to catch my train to Golden Rock. 

The plan is: Train to Golden Rock aka Kyaiktiyo. Stay a night at Kinpun, which is at the base of Golden Rock. Next day, bus down to a town called Hpa-An. It has been on my list since I found out that there's a mountain to hike up - Mount Zwe Ga Bin. Hell yeah!!! I read that Hpa-An is a quiet town too... And yes, specifically planned to do this leading up to my birthday to make it special : )

Excited for my getaway! Been waiting for a time like this. And now is perfect after months of flooding season.

I just hope for good weather now please. I really dislike rain. Like.. REALLY.

The weather forecast shows rain for the next few days, but.. I'mma keep my hopes up.

Anyway, yesterday....

THIS HAPPENED.

Was chatting with this lady on Facebook messenger when she suddenly dialed to call and I couldn't help but burst out laughing and laughing and laughing and laughing.

Hilarious!!!! 

What's lame though is that even though she initiated the call, she couldn't talk coz she was in the office. So she was typing to converse. LAAAAMEEEE. 

Shall see you soon lah and we'll be conversing for two months straight. By the end of it, we wouldn't even want to have anything to do with one another.

Update: my alarm clock does not want to be downloaded ugh crappy internet you are to blame!!!
