My lovely Fijian girl, Talei!!!

She's finally out and about. Haven't seen her or had a good chat coz she's always indoors and I go to her cottage less often coz it's just too damn cold to step outside to go to her side. So happy we talked quite a bit today whilst walking home from town.

This was when we were back and she'd already washed up. HAD to have a picture taken with her man. She was a happy girl indeed.


Last but not least, Yurina Tashiro, the next one to leave me on this exchange.

She's heading for the South Island today at 9:30am and I'm gonna miss her so... Coz when she comes back after 2 weeks, I'd be gone from Hamilton. The Korean girls whom I'm going to Wellington with will still see her coz they're returning. But I'm off to Australia. So we were really quite sad to say goodbye today. Nevertheless, I'll see her at 9:30 today at my cottage coz the bus taking her to the airport's right next to where I live. So. That will be the final goodbye. 5 hours later from now. I can't fall asleep right now. Quite awake. I dunno why.

Maybe something's bothering me. I think this girl is worrying me. She's heading to the South Island alone for 2 weeks. That's crazy. I can't imagine how it's gonna be like for her just travelling like a lone ranger with no plans at all. She only knows she's gonna land at Dunedin. That's it. No hostel booking. Nothing. But. I say it's a great respite for her after a terrible break up she had a month ago.... She's gonna set herself free in mother nature... which I have no doubts about coz she's definitely gonna be overwhelmed by it. Like I had been, 2 months ago. I hope she does nothing stupid to herself though. I really don't wish for that to happen.

She's also gonna be here for another semester coz it's a year-long exchange for her. I really worry like crazy. Coz I can't be here for her. I'm going back. So I wish her all the luck and love. She doesn't deserve anything less.




I'll visit her one day in Miyazaki, Japan.
Yurina's one smart cookie. I realise her written English is very good. Surpass what I expected of her. And her being the only one from her school, which offered only one spot for exchange to the entire school, only shows what kinda grades she scores back at home. Haha. Smart smart smart.
