Thanks for being one of the greatest friends I've ever met on this exchange, and one of the most talented people I've ever known to walk this planet. Cheers Jan Hoffmann! And see you in Germany my friend.

First of my friends that I bid goodbye to, as he heads off to Fiji tomorrow, or rather today, since the clock has struck midnight. 

My Chinese friend and I cooked a meal for him together as a farewell dinner :') Food is his everything I tell you, so I guess the best way to say goodbye is through food. Food bonds everyone in every culture. No matter what. 

He is the first person whom I've ever loved and hated so much at the same time. Good and bad times, I embrace them all, and I will cherish all those memories and lessons learnt. He has taught me so much. 

I wish him all the best for his future endeavours! I can tell its gonna be so darn blazingly bright.

I dunno when's the next time I will see you, you in Singapore or me in Europe, but I must say the times spent here with you have truly been the best.

For now, it's goodbye. Thanks for simply being you..... stay that way. The cottage is gonna be helluva quiet from now on. And I'll miss your cheerful morning greetings.
